Real teamwork.

Shared vision.

Deep Trust.

For leaders who know something needs to change.

I know your world. From the inside.

With over 12 years experience in international ministry as board member, Church Development Coordinator, and Healthy Churches Global Guide for international leadership teams in Europe.

I offer workshops in German and English.

Does this sound familiar?

  • The team is not really pulling together even though everyone says the right thing.

  • Decisions take longer because no one openly disagrees but no one truely commits either.

  • Intercultural misunderstandings stay unspoken and quietly erode trust.

  • Good people step back without explaining why.

  • Everyone understands vision and values slightly differently and no one says it out loud.

  • You are carrying too much alone. And you are tired of it.

In multicultural leadership teams, the problem is rarely the differences themselves. It's what stays unspoken.

How I work with leadership teams

1. Teamwork & Communication

Structured workshops to strengthen collaboration, clarify roles, and build a shared foundation with concrete agreements at the end; not just flip-chart results.

2. Shared Vision & Alignment

Developing a common understanding of vision, values, and direction so that after the workshop, everyone truly means the same thing.

3. Structure & Role Clarity

Who carries what? Who decides how? Clear responsibilities and decision-making processes that are practical and sustainable.

4. Conflict Resolution & Leadership Accompaniment

When tensions become too concrete to ignore. Facilitated conversations and ongoing support for boards and leadership teams.

What makes the difference?

What sets me apart is not a method - it's experience from the inside.

I spent over twelve years in an international congregation in Düsseldorf with members from over 30 nations. As admin assistant, board member, and Church Development Coordinator I experienced volunteers and staff with completely different expectations of leadership, commitment, and decision-making. I sat in the same meetings you lead today. I know the silence that isn't agreement. And I know the trouble when someone leaves without explaining why. In 2020, I trained as a certified mediator because I had seen how rarely people in intercultural settings have the tools to navigate conflict constructively and how to work together with trust and commitment. Today I hold two certifications that are unique in their combination: Certified Mediator and Certified Guide for Strategic Envisioning (Healthy Churches Global).

The result of my workshops:

Real teamwork. Shared vision. Deep Trust.

"Andrea Hesterberg brought an incredible combination of cultural awareness, communication excellence, and servant leadership to our church as she facilitated the process. She did a great job in all three phases of facilitating; i.e. the phases of before, during, and after our meetings."

Pastor Jeff Hinman

International Baptist Church Duesseldorf

"Andrea is a skilled mediator, a great team player, and passionate in wanting to see churches become focused and functional bodies of Christ. She has multiple tools to draw upon to find the unique path for each church to become a healthy community of Christ."
